The Bosch that I own is a variable speed. Non-variable means that it's either on or off and no in between. The problem with my saw it that the trigger is very sensitive. I am soon going to buy a voltage regulator that the saw can plug into and I will be able to control the speed by adjusting the voltage output to the tool. Thanks though @needit3269@needit3269

Use a variable speed reciprocating saw it will start single stroke & sped up as you squeeze the trigger so much better!!!
